Merry Christmas! '19
Merry Christmas you filthy animals! Glad tidings, glad tidings to you and your king (yes, I’m probably more excited for the Gavin & Stacey special than Christmas itself but who isn’t eh?).
In all honesty, there isn’t that much to tell at the moment but I wanted to write one more of these before the end of year and indeed the end of the decade!
Aside from gigging, most of my time recently has been taken up recording new music which will be released as an EP next year. So far I’ve only released singles which has been fun, but I’m very excited to be creating something a bit bigger that has much more room for different themes and an overall story. I have most of the songs written and I’ve got a solid concept for the EP but it could all change as I get further into writing and recording! I’ll tell you more when I actually know myself but hopefully it should be ready during the first half of next year and I for one can’t wait (alright I’ll stop now I swear).
Secondly I’d like thank you, yes you! This music stuff would be pretty much stuck in the mud if it weren’t for your support. I love playing and singing, and whilst I find singing to myself quite therapeutic it’s not a patch on playing to someone else, it’s genuinely one of the feelings that keeps me gigging as much as I do. So whether you’ve been to a gig, bought my music or even shared my posts on Facebook, I really do appreciate it and at the end of the day, when all’s said and done… yeah. (Not even sorry about that one.)
So if I don’t see you before, have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! I can get back to watching the Christmas special now, Pete’s just punched Dave.
Luke.
